Yesterday we saw the rocking Musical "Rock of Ages". Was great and hard to stay seated :-) though do not know what to think of one character saying "I am not gay, I am German" -- having the context it was funny ;-)

Nice new Cafe in our neighborhood. Looks very art like and creative:-) it will move later to a new permanent building which is being built right now next door.

My last post from Edinburgh for now :-) John and I were also at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle in the background. An amazing spectacle with 1000 performers, hundreds of musicians, pipers, drummers, singers and dancers. Worth to go!

Yes, we found a Thistle while being in Scotland - the symbol for Scotland. Beautiful looking, but with sharp prickles. That was the alarm for the Scots, when a Norse Invador stepped on one barefoot and cried out in pain. So what's the learning of the legend? Do not step on a Thistle :-)

Back in London after a great long weekend in Edinburgh. I especially enjoyed the Fringe, Edinburgh Festival, largest art festival in the world! To recommend and take lots of time with you :-) Also, the Olympic Rings are also in the capital of Scottland :-)

Today after Italy won the Volleyball Bronze medal – all players were gone, but an Italian laid down a long time to suck in the feeling of Victory :-)

Today. John and I watched Japan winning the Bronze medal in Women's Volleyball. And we'll be back tomorrow the Men's Bronze game. Amazing to watch this fast sport and the long legs :-)

Lovely sunny days in Munich :-) though now ready to head back to London and to watch the Finale of Women's Hockey (unfortunately Germany did not maje it) and the Bronze medal games of Volleyball! Will be great to see it live in the Stadium :-)
